I have been working hard over the last few weeks redesigning the website. My plan is to make the design of the website look and behave more like a daily news website rather than just a blog, which will hopefully make the content easier to navigate.

You may have noticed the Latest News and Most Read news modules on the front page. The Latest News will display the last five news articles, and the Most Read will display the most read news articles from the past 365 days. I have added a Related Items plugin, which will show related articles at the top of the window when viewing articles singley. I hope to include more modules like this that will enable you to view content quickly and easily. I will also be redesigning the newsletter.

I have integrated the articles with the facebook comments plugin. This means you can comment on any article on the website when it is viewed singley. If you click the title link of an article, and then scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the facebook comments box. You can also share articles on your own facebook account by using this method.

I have moved the Sermons into their own category system instead of having a really long list of them on the one page. So hopefully this should make navigating much easier.

I would appreciate everyone's thoughts on redesigning the front page. Do you prefer the blog view, where you can read an entire article without having to click on it, or if I can rearrange the front page to include just headlines to news articles with a 'read more' link, would you prefer having more news headlines on the front page and less writing?

Any other ideas or suggestions are welcome... Thanks again.
